Let’s see, the shades which are probably the most flattering on my tan pores and skin tone (I’m an NC42 in MAC), are just about something within the heat, however not too heat, class. For eye make-up, heat browns, taupes, purples and bronzes are my go-to shades — NARS Fez and MAC Satin Taupe all day, day-after-day!
There does appears to be a nice line, although, between heat and TOO heat. Like, if an eyeshadow has very robust heat crimson or orange tones, it appears to be like actually bizarre on me, like I’ve had a foul chilly, or I’ve been crying.
Shiny jewel tones look OK on me as effectively. I’ll take all of the purple, blue and inexperienced eyeliner. 🙂
For blushes and lipsticks, I like heat shades of pink or coral; I really feel like I can pull off reds and browns decently, too. I’ve a tougher time with plum and wine shades, which is why I don’t put on them as a lot.
How about you? What make-up shades are probably the most and least flattering on you?
Your pleasant neighborhood magnificence addict,
Karen
P.S. TGIF!
